Almighty God, the Father of mercies, Lord of all Creation, and Spring of all comfort, hear our prayers, come to our defense, and deliver us from the dangers and evil that besets us and threatens to enslave us and our children. Oh Master, Jesus Christ, we beseech You to save this land and have mercy on Your people, for the days are dark and our hearts are troubled.
We believe Lord, that all trials of life are under Your care and that all things work for the good of those who love You. Take away from us fear, anxiety, and distress. Help us to face and endure these difficult and dangerous times with faith, courage, and wisdom. Grant that these trials may bring us closer to You for You are our rock and refuge, our comfort and hope, our delight and joy. We trust in Your love and compassion. For unto Thee are due all glory, honor, and worship: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Oh God, our help in time of need, Who are just and merciful, and Who inclines to the supplications of His people. Look down upon us and have mercy on us and deliver us from the trouble that now besets us. Deal with us not according to our iniquities, but according to Your manifold mercies, for we are the works of Your hands, and You know our weaknesses.
We pray to you to grant us Your divine helping grace, and endow us with patience and strength to endure our hardships with complete submission to Your Will. Only You know our misery and sufferings, and to You, our only hope and refuge, we flee for relief and comfort, trusting in Your infinite love and compassion, that in due time, when You know best, You will deliver us from this trouble, and turn our distress into comfort. We then shall rejoice in Your mercy, and exalt and praise Thy Holy Name, Oh Father, Son and Holy Spirit, both now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

AMEN! Lord have mercy! If a radical, Marxist, pro-death, pro-communism and hate-America totalitarian like Obama wins today America is in serious trouble.
Oh Lord, hear our pleas and cries for help! Most Holy Trinity have mercy on us and save us from the evil and destruction that is trying to destroy our lives and liberties.
We beseech you Master to not forsake us in this hour of need and rescue us from the anti-Christian forces that seek to persecute and enslave us. We know we are not worthy, but in your immeasurable mercy and love for us, have mercy on us and our children.
THANK THEE UP ABOVE.
Smite they demons and dare-doer’s from ripping apart thy American holy land.
May her bosom always bloom fresh, and feed they true followers from being beseeched by the evil inequities of our liberal, hate-mongering, lost brothers and sisters.
We know you won’t let a heathen take office. Should he, may rapture spring forth from your arms tonight!!!
Holy God,
Today You have given us a choice between life and death. Though some may not believe the seriousness of their obligation to honor You in the voting booth, the truth still stands. We can vote to defend Your innocent, unborn creations or we can turn their fate over to those who bow before self-appointed gods. It can be no more simply stated than this. The blood of the innocents will be upon all those who stay home and especially upon those who vote for the man who has promised to make abortion more available at any stage of pregnancy, even for teen-agers. Holy God, You will hold us all accountable one day when we stand before You and we will all have to proclaim what we did to stop this shedding of innocent blood.
Father, may the cries of the unborn be heard in the ears and the hearts of all those going to the polls today. May the sorrow of our nation’s sins cling heavily to our hearts as we take the opportunity to begin righting the wrongs. And may those who would selfishly vote for their own interests rather than Your interests be either kept home or be unable to mark their ballots for the one who would ensure the demise of future generations of Your beloved creations.
Holy and awesome God, we pray through our tears that Your will would be done this day—that America would CHOOSE LIFE and choose it abundantly. And Lord, we give You all the praise and glory due to You and Your Kingdom of Light. In the Name of the Savior, Jesus Christ, who died so that we might LIVE. Amen.
As an Orthodox Christian, I don’t feel like the need to hope for a political leader to be my saviour. God is my only hope. Leaders in a particular society are chosen by God. If the leaders are bad, it’s because populations deserve them. So, I don’t see any reason for being so emotional and ideological in supporting any particular leader or party.
