That woman, although a feminist, was definitely a citizen of her era, a time when Eugenics was mainstream, forced sterilization was actually accepted in the political sphere. That is until they found out what Hitler did with eugenics and how far it could go with the Nazi ideology.
Eugenics fell out of favor in America because of resistance by clear-headed common people. Sanger was vicious crackpot. If she was speaking today she would sound just like a White Supremacist. I’m posting Adam’s article about her on the main page tonight.
